After breakfast, our Tanzania Safari Tour Guide will pick you up from your accommodations with a smile and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The shallow salt lake that takes up about 70% of the land in Manyara National Park, which is 120 km west of Arusha, gives the park its name. This soda lake is home to thousands of flamingos and more than 500 other bird species. It floods and dries out with the seasons. As we walk through the park, we see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and if we’re lucky, lions relaxing in the trees. The park is known for its many different kinds of landscapes, such as grassy plains, woods with primates, and cliffs with baobab trees. After a full day in the park, we drive to our lodging, where we can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal while our comfortable rooms are ready for us.

After breakfast, we keep going up toward the fertile highlands where the Iraqis grow wheat, coffee, and corn. We will see the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater as we drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on our way to the Serengeti National Park, which we will reach around noon. The Serengeti National Park is the biggest park in Tanzania. It is 15,000 km2 and has grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains, among other landscapes and habitats. Here, wildebeest, zebra, and antelope go on their long journey to find food and water. Depending on the time of year, we may be able to see thousands of animals on their way.
After a long game drive, we drive to the Seronera Valley for dinner and a place to stay the night.

On the Serengeti, this whole day is set aside for game drives. The Serengeti is home to a lot of animals, like impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is best known for the large herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest that move through it. The animals move based on how much rain there is, which changes from year to year. In November and December, animals move from the north, where there are mostly forests and hills, to the south, where there are grassy plains. From April to June, when it rains more, they go back to the north. Aside from the herds that move, we might also get to see leopards, cheetahs, and lions, which live there, doing their part in the circle of life.
After a day we’ll never forget, we’ll go back to our accommodations to rest, eat, and sleep on The Endless Plain.

You’ll drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast.
When you first look at Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a world that has been left behind. The steep volcanic walls hide a pristine wilderness with wide savannahs, patches of acacia woodland, and lakes and swamps that sparkle in the sun. Two to three million years ago, a big volcano blew up and fell in on itself, making the Crater.
The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in itself, and as soon as you reach the floor of the Crater, you are surrounded by wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 different kinds of birds. The endangered black rhino can sometimes be seen in the open grasslands near the Crater. This is your best chance of seeing one.
After spending the whole afternoon in the Crater, you’ll go back to your lodging in Mto wa mbu for dinner and the night.

We take a short drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants. It has a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, and the Tarangire River flows through it. From the open top of our safari truck, we hope to see zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, among other animals. There’s a chance that we’ll get to see Simba stalking his prey or leopards watching from the trees while they chill out. After lunch in the park, our Tanzania safari tour will be over. Depending on your plans, our driver will be ready to take you to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar or back home.
